Bang & Olufsen presented its first BEOSOUND Explore Bluetooth column. The novelty is characterized by compact sizes, and also has a degree of protection against moisture and dust according to the IP67 standard, which will allow you to use it in training in any weather or on vacation in nature. The column body is made of aluminum. According to Bang & Olufsen, he is resistant to scratches, so the column can be taken with him on a journey in a bag or attaching to a backpack.
The column is equipped with two 1.8-inch broadband speakers configured to operate outdoors. Thanks to the cylindrical shape of the case, the original grid design and support for True360 technology column ensures the playback of the omnidirectional sound, as well as deep saturated bass.
In the upper part of the case, built-in controls, giving access to playback / pause functions, sound volume, Bluetooth and power pairing. As in the case of other portable speakers, you can connect two columns from the BeoSound Explore to play music in the “Stereo” mode.
According to the company, the user can count on 27 hours of autonomous work with the “typical loudness of listening”, which, according to B & O, is about 70 dB. BEOSOUND Explore supports Bluetooth 5.2 connection, as well as a quick pairing technology from Apple, Google and Microsoft.
The BEOSOUND Explore column went on sale in black and green colors for $ 199. The device version in gray will appear on the market this summer.
