Bird introduced a new generation electric pump with automatic emergency braking system

2 min read

Bird introduced the Tree electric scooter, which is currently the most durable, safe and environmentally friendly vehicle, ever created by the company. It has a longer wheelbase than predecessors, a gas handle with three sensors, a triple braking system with two independent levers and an automatic emergency braking system, which, according to the company, is used in the industry for the first time.

In the positioning of the Bird Three scooter, it is curious that the manufacturer himself calls it a micro electric car. It is quite obvious that thus Bird is trying to benefit from the rapid growth of the electric car industry, which will soon receive billions of dollars of public investment in accordance with US President Joe Bayden. And the attention of the micro-electric car attracts more than the next scooter.

Bird declares that the first electrical sinks were more to the toys than vehicles. They did not differ in high reliability and endurance. Nevertheless, Bird Three got rid of “childhood diseases” and now, according to the manufacturer, the dignity of the title “electric vehicle, reduced to micro-form factor”.

Bird Three is equipped with a removable battery with a capacity of 1 kWh, which is designed for mileage at least 22,500 km without the need for replacement – more than half of the circumference of the Earth Equator. The battery is protected from dust and moisture according to IP68. Scooter can automatically send diagnostic data in BIRD when it is necessary to repair. In addition, as soon as the problem is discovered, which makes the continuation of the trip unsafe, the automatic system of eccent braking will work to prevent an accident.

Bird Three will be launched only in several markets, and its cost is not yet reported.
