General Motors’ Cadillac has unveiled its first all-electric crossover: the premium Lyriq model will hit the market in late 2022 or early 2023.
As you can see in the images, the car has a sporty look with a sloping rear end. The car boasts a long wheelbase and huge 22-inch rims.
The electric car will be offered in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. Power will be provided by a battery pack with a capacity of 100 kWh, the charge of which will be enough to cover approximately 480 km. The dynamic characteristics have not yet been disclosed, unfortunately.
The driver is provided with a giant 33-inch curved display that integrates dashboard and in-flight infotainment screen functions. The display is said to be capable of over a billion colors.
We are talking about the presence of a two-layer projection head-up-screen: on one plane, navigation instructions can be displayed, on the other – the current speed and other useful information.
Of course, there are advanced safety and driver assistance facilities. These are, in particular, the SuperCruise self-management complex and the remote parking facility.
