Gigabyte has introduced two new gaming desktops of the Aorus – Model X and Model S series today. About the first we told in the previous news. Like a desktop model, which was said earlier, AORUS Model S is also ready to offer an AMD hardware platform, but the choice is not limited only by it.
Novika is collected in a compact case with a volume of 14 liters and in shape resembles the Xbox Series X gaming console from Microsoft. System dimensions are 190 × 189 × 400 mm. As a basis in AORUS Model S, the latest AMD or Intel processors can be used. In the first case, the system will be equipped with a motherboard with AMD B550 chipset and the Ryzen 9 5900x processor. The version on Intel uses the motherboard with the Intel Z590 chipset and is ready to offer the flagship eight-core processor Core i9-11900K generation Rocket Lake-S.
The AORUS Model S based on the AMD and Intel platforms is 32 GB of the RAM standard DDR4. In the first case, its effective frequency is 3600 MHz, in the second – 4000 MHz. Both variants of the game PC are ready to offer two solid-state drive M.2: one with a PCIe 4.0 interface with a capacity of 1 TB, the second – with PCIe 3.0 by 2 TB.
Realtek 2.5GBE and Intel 1GBE controllers are responsible for the wired connection to the computer network. In addition, WI-FI 6 wireless adapters 6 (802.11AX) and Bluetooth 5.0 are provided (5.1 at the model based on Intel).
