Slovenian company EK Water Blocks, a well-known developer of liquid cooling systems, announced an EK-Quantum Strix water supply unit, designed specifically for graphic accelerators ASUS ROG STRIX series AMD RADEON RX 6800 and RADEON RX 6900.
The novelty uses Open Split-Flow branded architecture. It provides high cooling efficiency even at a relatively small flow rate of the fluid. Thus, it is possible to apply not too powerful pumps or pumps operating at low speed.
The base of the water-block is made of electrolytic copper plates with nickel coating. The heat is given by all key components of the graphics accelerator printed circuit board, including microchip memory and power supply subsystem.
The product has a multicolor backlit D-RGB with nine LEDs. You can manage it through the motherboard with ASUS AURA Sync technology, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync or MSI Mystic Light Sync.
The cost of the novelty is about 170 euros. For an additional fee in the amount of 43-50 euros, it will be possible to purchase a reinforcing rear plate.
