Gelid announced the universal processor cooler GLACIER RGB, capable of cope with heat removal from chips, whose value of the diffusing heat energy (TDP) reaches 220 W.
The novelty has a tower structure. Through a two-section radiator, six heat pipes U-shaped: they have direct contact with the processor lid, thereby increasing the cooling efficiency. Based on the clamping plate, which performs the functions of a small auxiliary radiator.
For blowing, there are two fans with a diameter of 120 mm. They are endowed with a multicolor addressable ArgB backlight, control the work of which is possible through a compatible motherboard.
The speed of rotation of the fans is regulated by the pulse modulation (PWM) method from 500 to 1600 revolutions per minute. The maximum air flow is 119 cubic meters per hour at noise level no more than 35 dBA.
It is said about compatibility with AMD processors performed by AM2, AM2 +, AM3, AM3 +, AM4, FM1, FM2 and FM2 +, as well as with Intel LGA 775, 1366, 2011, 2066, 1155, 1156, 1150, 1151 and 1200 chips.
The Gelid Glacier RGB cooler has already enrolled on sale at an estimated price of $ 60.
