The tactical role-playing game Solasta: Crown of the Magister from the French Studio Tactical Adventures is only preparing for today to leave early Steam access, but has already received the first assessments of the profile press.
By the time of publication of this material, the average rating of the Debut Creation of Tactical Adventures on the Metacritic and OpenCritic aggregators is approximately the same – 77 and 75%, respectively.
Reviewers praised Solasta: Crown of The Magister for skillfully transferred to the video game format of Dungeons & Dragons mechanics, a gameplay depth, flexible complexity setting and a constant sense of progress.
I did not like the project by the authors of reviews Asceticity (the schedule does not hit the imagination), a small number of available races and classes, too familiar entourage and plot, as well as numerous (even in the release version) of bugs.
WCCFTECH journalist also warned that those who did not matter with Dungeons & Dragons users may initially get lost in the volumes of unfamiliar spells and skills, which is in Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
In general, critics agreed that Solasta: Crown of The Magister turned out to be a worthy game with great potential. The author VentureBeat even allowed that Tactical Adventures once could become one-row with RPG studios as Obsidian, Inxile and Larian.
Solasta: Crown of the Magister will come out of early Steam access today, May 27. Now the game is sold for 583 rubles (taking into account the 20 percent discount), but after the release it will noticeably rise in price. The average user rating of the project is 92%.
