With the release of Resident Evil Village, a little more than a day has passed, and the ambitious Capcom shooter with horror elements has already set a record for the series. At least on STEAM expanses.
We are talking about the indicator of simultaneous players. According to the official statistics of Steam (and the STEAMDB data), on May 7 at about 23:30 Moscow time in Resident Evil Village, 101,726 users were recorded.
As it turned out, the amount achieved is for the entire franchise of Resident Evil Record: To the Village, no game of the series of the series on the launch, nor after it before such indicators has become reached.
For comparison: the best remake of Resident Evil 2 is a recently, a series record holder in terms of the number of simultaneous players – 74,227 users remain.
Other projects of the franchise, according to the SteeAMDB website, the peak online and the same below are: 60,243 players at the Resident Evil 3, 20,449 players from Resident Evil 7, 11,879 players from Resident Evil 6.
With the user rating of Resident Evil Village in Steam, too, everything is fine: by now the project can boast of “very positive” reviews (92% of more than 4 thousand).
Resident Evil Village debuted on May 7 of this year on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, as well as in Google Stadia. At the metaCritic project received from 82 to 85%, depending on the target platform.
