Huawei Consumer Business Group (BG) presented in Russia a Huawei MateBook D 16 laptop based on a 7-nm six-core AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor with 12 threads and a clock frequency of 4 GHz, as well as integrated Radeon graphics and TDP up to 40 W.
The novelty is equipped with a 16.1-inch FullView IPS-screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16: 9 and a maximum brightness of 300 cd / m2. With a bezel thickness of just 4.9mm, the screen-to-lid ratio is 90%. The screen of Huawei MateBook D 16 supports 100% coverage of the sRGB color space and has a blue light and glare protection mode certified by TÜV Rheinland.
The MateBook D 16 specifications include 8GB or 16GB dual channel DDR4 memory, 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD expandable to 2TB. It also has a Wi-Fi 6 wireless adapter, 2 USB Type-C ports, 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The 56.8 Wh battery provides up to 9.5 hours of video playback. Supported by Huawei SuperCharge fast charging technology, fifteen minutes of charging using the 65W USB Type-C power adapter is enough for two hours of use with office applications. We add that the laptop in the off state supports reverse charging.
The cooling system Huawei Shark Fin uses two coolers with frequent arrangement of S-shaped blades 0.2 mm wide, ensuring quiet operation of the device.
It should also be noted that the Huawei MateBook D 16 supports Huawei Share technology, which provides interaction between a laptop and a smartphone. It is enough to bring the smartphone to the NFC tag built into the touchpad, and the Huawei Share Multiscreen function will unite the two devices into a single ecosystem. Unlocking the laptop is done using a fingerprint scanner built into the power button.
The pre-order for the Huawei MateBook D 16 in Space Gray will open on March 23rd. The cost of the model with 8 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 512 GB is 71,990 rubles. The MateBook D 16 version with 16 GB of RAM and the same drive will cost 74,990 rubles.
