The other day it was reported that the announcement of the flexible smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will take place in September, and not in August, as previously assumed. And now, informed Internet sources have published the alleged technical characteristics of the new items.
It is claimed that the device will receive a 7.7-inch flexible Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an ultra-thin UTG (Ultra Thin Glass). For comparison: the size of the main screen of the original version of Galaxy Fold, which is shown in the images, is 7.3 inches diagonally.
The diagonal of the external display supposedly increases from 4.6 to 6.23 inches. This will allow you to fully work with the device, even when closed.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone is credited with having two 10-megapixel selfie cameras – inside and out. The triple main camera will combine a 64-megapixel telephoto module, a 12-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics and a 12-megapixel module with ultra-wide-angle optics.
Power will be provided by a two-component battery with a total capacity of 4365 mAh. Mentioned support for 15-watt wireless recharging, 15-watt reverse wireless recharging and 25-watt wired recharging.
Other proposed equipment of the new product is as follows: Snapdragon 865 Plus processor with a frequency of up to 3.1 GHz, side fingerprint scanner, flash drive with a capacity of 128/256 GB and 5G support.
