HUAWEI Consumer Business Group (BG) has unveiled the HUAWEI MatePad tablet in Russia, which has received a number of updates over the previous version, including the Kirin 820 processor, increased flash memory and support for the Wi-Fi 6 wireless network standard. The new product will go on sale 18 February in company stores and partner stores.

The updated tablet is equipped with a FullView IPS-screen with a diagonal of 10.4 inches, a resolution of 2K (2000 × 1200 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 16: 9. With slim 7.9mm bezels, the tablet has an 84% screen-to-body ratio. The tablet provides 100% coverage of the sRGB color space, the maximum screen brightness is 470 cd / m2. There is also a TÜV Rheinland certified eye protection mode with blue filtering of the backlight spectrum.

The tablet is based on a 7nm eight-core Kirin 820 processor with a clock speed of 2.36 GHz and a Mali-G57 graphics module. On board there is 4 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 64 or 128 GB. High quality sound is provided by a 4-channel, 4-speaker audio system tuned by Harman Kardon. Proprietary HUAWEI Histen 6.1 technology with built-in equalizer guarantees surround sound.

The updated HUAWEI MatePad supports the HUAWEI Share Multi-Screen function, thanks to which you can connect your HUAWEI smartphone to the tablet, providing access to the device’s files and applications, as well as the ability to use shared peripherals.

The tablet’s APP Multiplier split window displays the same application in two adjacent windows, greatly simplifying the work with instant messengers, applications and office documents. You can also display the application in a floating window to, for example, reply to a message without interrupting your current affairs.

And with the Cross Device Photo Gallery app, you can connect all galleries registered to the same HUAWEI ID account to access your photos from any HUAWEI device.

The updated HUAWEI MatePad 4/128 GB (Wi-Fi) in midnight gray will go on sale on February 18, 2021 at a price of 26,990 rubles.
