Digitimes edition, referring to its own reliable industry sources, reported that Global Lighting Technologies will start delivering components for MINI-LED-displays of the future MacBook Pro only in the third quarter of the current year. There is no details yet, but this information may indicate that you can wait for the release of new Apple laptops not before the end of the current year or the beginning of the following.
According to rumors, Apple is preparing to submit two new MacBook Pro models that will receive 14 and 16-inch MINI-LED matrices. It is assumed that these laptops will be equipped with Apple’s branded ARM processors that will become a further development of the M1 chip. They also attribute the presence of a magnetic connector for charging Magsafe, HDMI port and SD card reader. It is also reported on the refusal of the touch panel Touch Bar in favor of the familiar function keys.
Most analysts converge that new MacBook Pro models will be announced in the second half of this year. Nevertheless, the Reliable insider John Prosser (Jon Prosser) claims that at least one new MacBook Pro model will be presented at the WWDC conference, which starts next week.
