ASUS introduced in China an ultra-thin and compact Vivobook Pro 14 laptop based on fresh Mobile AMD 5000H AMD mobile processors. The weight of the novelties is only 1.35 kg, and the thickness is 17.9 mm.
ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 is available in two versions: based on eight Ryzen 7 5800H nuclear chip with frequency range from 3.2 to 4.4 GHz, as well as on the basis of six-core Ryzen 5 5600H with a core frequency from 3.2 to 4.2 GHz . Both processors are based on the Zen 3 architecture and are built using the 7-nm technical process.
For both versions of the laptop, the manufacturer offers 16 GB of DDR4 RAM4, as well as the NVME-drive of M.2 format of 512 GB. In both cases, the portable system is equipped with a 14-inch OLED-screen with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels and an update frequency of 90 Hz. The peak brightness of the display is 600 kD / m2, the level of dynamic contrast – up to 1,000,000: 1. The display claims 100 percent coverage of DCI-P3 color space with 1 billion colors support.
Additionally, it is worth noting the equipment of the laptop by the HARMAN KARDON sound system with a smart noise cancellation system based on artificial intelligence algorithms. In other Equipment, Vivobook Pro 14 includes a webcam, as well as fingerprint scanner. The latter is located on the power button.
Model Vivobook Pro 14 based on Ryzen 5 5600H with 16 GB of RAM and SSD volume 512 GB is estimated by the manufacturer in 4599 yuan (about 10). The older model on the Ryzen 7 5800H with the same memory and the solid-state drive received the price tag in 4999 yuan (about 72). Pre-orders for a novelty in China have already begun. It is very likely that a little later, the laptop will be presented in other world markets.
