ASUS, according to network sources reports, announcing the world’s first portable computer running chrome OS, equipped with a 17.3-inch display diagonal display. Now most of these devices are equipped with a diagonal screen not more than 15.6 inches.
The preparing new ASUS appears under the designation CX1700. It is known that Full HD format panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels will be applied.
The hardware basis will serve the Intel Jasper Lake platform. Buyers will be able to choose between versions equipped with Celeron N5100 and Pentium Silver N6000 processor. These 10 nanometer chips contain four computing kernels without supporting multithreading. In the first case, the clock frequency varies from 1.1 to 2.8 GHz, in the second – from 1.1 to 3.3 GHz. The integrated Intel UHD accelerator is responsible for processing graphics.
The basic configuration will include 4 GB of RAM. The storage capacity of the flash drive will be 64 GB. It may also be issued modifications in other equipment, in particular, with 8 GB of RAM.
