Samsung announced the expansion of the M5 and M7 smart displays, operating under TIZEN. Soon, the buyers will be available 43-inch version M7 with support for the resolution UHD (3840 × 2160 pixels) and the 24-inch version M5 with support for Full HD permission (1920 × 1080 points). Thus, Samsung announced the largest and most small versions of their own smart monitors available at present.
Recall, Samsung introduced the first smart monitor last year, stating that the device is a universal display suitable for work and entertainment. The design provides speakers, and the role of the software platform performs Tizen. The SMART TV function is supported, so that the user can run compatible applications on the smart display without the need to connect it to the computer. To control, you can use the remote control, as well as voice commands (implemented support for Voice assistants Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Samsung Bixby).
SAMSUNG M7 smart displays are now presented with 43- and 32-inch versions with 4K format support, and the M5 model comes in variants with a diagonal of 24, 27 and 32 inches and supports Full HD format. In addition, Samsung announced the appearance of 27- and 32-inch versions of the M5 model in the white color of the body.
Samsung has not yet declared the retail price of the novelty, but one can recall that the 32-inch M7 was estimated at $ 400, and the 27-inch M5 – at $ 230. Obviously, the 43-inch version of M7 will cost somewhat more expensive, the 24-inch version M5 is cheaper than the options already released by the manufacturer.
