The social network is already cooperating with several advertisers as part of advertising testing in Fleets. It is reported that at the first time advertisements will see the limited number of users of the iOS and Android application Twitter from the USA. Advertising will be able to use videos with the aspect ratio of 9:16 and a duration of up to 30 seconds. Advertisers will be able to track the effectiveness of ads using standard Twitter funds, receiving information on the number of impressions, transitions to the profile and much more. The social network declares that studies user interaction with Fleets to understand how to use this product to most effectively.
In April, Twitter reported that its advertising income grew by 32 percent year in annual terms and amounted to $ 899 million. The introduction of advertising in Fleets will allow the company to increase this indicator even more.
