Kobo, according to network sources, is preparing for the release of a curious novelty – a hybrid of the reader and a tablet called Elipsa, the official presentation of which can take place in the current quarter.
The device will receive a display on the electronic paper E Ink Carta with a diagonal of 10.3 inches. Mentioned support for sensory control, and the front illumination will allow working in the dark or in poor light conditions.
For the novelty, it is possible to interact with the screen using the Kobo Stylus pen sensitive to pressing. Users will be able to do sketches, notes, post comments on texts, etc.
The reader will receive a special protective cover of Kobo Sleepcover, opening up, and not in the side: Thus, the novelty will mostly resemble a notebook, not a traditional book.
It is known that the gadget will be equipped with a flash drive with a capacity of 32 GB. Obviously, the Wi-Fi wireless adapter will enter the equipment. Other technical characteristics so far, unfortunately, are not disclosed.
