Unlike past years, the conference for Microsoft Build developers this year does not replete loud and unexpected announcements. However, it was not without curious innovations, one of which was the first developer project based on the GPT-3 Natural Language Model from OpenAi. Neuralette is integrated into the Low-Code platform for the development of Power Apps, thanks to which users will be able to create applications almost without code knowledge.
It is worth noting that the possibility of using a natural language in the development of applications does not cancel the need to understand the introducted code, but only makes it easier to select the necessary formulas. To implement more complex requests, developer will still need to have certain technical knowledge and skills. However, this project will significantly reduce the input threshold to develop applications and make it more affordable.
Public pre-testing GPT-3 in Power Apps will be launched at the end of June. It is worth noting that in the future Microsoft intends to integrate the POWER FX language into other tools within the Power Platform platform, due to which the possibility of using a natural language processing model will appear in them.
